A: KC Rescue's adoption fee is $130
Q: What does the adoption fee include?
A: All of our cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, de-wormed, vaccinated, tested for feline leukemia and FIV, tattooed, and microchipped. The average cost of these services at a vet clinic are as follows:
Spay/Neuter: $130-250
Microchip: $70
FeLeuk/FIV testing: $70
Initial vaccination: $120
Booster vaccinations: $60
Deworming: $10-15
Q: What is the adoption process?
A: Contact us through this website, Facebook, email or phone and we will arrange for you to meet the cat or kitten that you are interested in. Once you have made up your mind on who will fit best with your family and lifestyle we will have you fill out an adoption application. Once the application is approved by a majority of the board members, you will take your new friend home!
Q: Can I surrender my cat to KC Rescue?
A: No, KC Rescue's purpose is to help stray and feral cats get off the streets and into homes. If you need to surrender your cat please contact a humane society or SPCA.
